I agree, as a significant stakeholder in NMS the NAB would surely have read the Annual Report cover to cover several times. If those statements concerning the NAB and refinancing were incorrect then i would expect the NAB would have organised a correction or clarification by now as investors would be relying on the accuracy of those statements when considering a buy/hold/sell decision.
A refinancing by the NAB may be seen by some as 'confidence' in the business.
Also if (a big if??) the tender for the significant contract mentioned in the last BRR broadcast comes off in November this should be a big boost for the business.
One thing is for sure - while we have this financing overhang it is unlikely we will see any new decent contracts - so they had better get a move on.
