Sigh. The science doesnt need to be settled.

All we need is uncertainty to justify action.

Here is my analogy for the day.

Scenario: Any/all foreign countries may, or may not, pose a threat to our country over a given period of time.

Question: Do we:

1. Do Nothing, and spend the $savings on tax cuts; or

2. Spend a zillion dollars maintaining a 100,000 standing army?
