lets rip rudd off

telstra cunrrently has the upperhand by owning the current tele network and thus can beat rudd to setting up a nbn of its own.

all it has to do is replace its copper with fibre inside its own infrastructure which will be much faster and cheaper to do than rudd who will have to set up a complete new fibre infrastructure.

if telstra acts now it can stick it up rudd by securing new and existing customers and offer much cheap pricing than rudd could with a whole new network.

with some clever pricing packages like voice and broadband bundling etc it may be able to make the nbn commercially viable if it tries hard enough and if the mass of consumers begin to appreciate the merit of nbn.

telstra currently thinks nbn is not commercially viable considering most households pay about $50pm but if telstra can bundle broadband, landline and mobile etc for about $100pm i think they will be on a winner even if they dont get a whole lot of cream in the profits but they will get the vast majority of subscribers.
