That is very true...and you're not the only Mainstream Aussie bloke who has expressed that sentiment by any stretch of the imagination...Jesus mate there's so much work up here that I think there's room for everyone...in fact maybe the only people left on the mainland are those, other than me, who post here.
Where'd you get that info from? ah yes...interview with ABC Country Hour or some such...that godamn internet, bring back steel nibbed pens, writing pads, envelopes and stamps and research in libraries I reckon.
Stagman if you read the Australian article just remember that most of the white people interviewed were self defined, self promoting, Saviours of the Aboriginal People...and not one of them is here any more except for me...they're all off saving some other mob somewhere else now...but, here I am, all isolated, and "tortured", poor bugger me (CMSL)*, trying to save some Song Lines...so it's a bit rich for me to point the finger at anybody else I s'pose.
