38t, the passions do run high sometimes, but GFM is insulting to auditors implying that they are cowards with his "love to cover their bums" comment. They have to state things as they see it, that is what they are appointed to do. Even if it puts them in the poo with the Directors, who are the ones who recommend their reappointment to the shareholders. I very much doubt that GFM has ever performed an audit of an ASX200 company - nor have I, for that matter, but from the UK I've audited many companies much bigger than CDU (including an S&P500 co.) and to throw around comments like that from a position of ignorance is enough to get anyone's blood up.

Having said that, it is NOT a standard disclaimer. It is only put in the report when it is warranted. Last year it was not warranted for CDU as they had plenty of cash for the foreseeable future. This year, they didn't.
