and with previous calculation of only 2% difference i guess they will do it coz

the tax which they will pay is kinda useless (as that goes to tax department no one else gets it) it can well be given to shareholders (who will pay tax and again it will end with ATO anyway) and restore a confidence.

which will help in improving the shareprice and hence market capitalisation.

that may well attract institutional investors towards CER shares..

Also CNP getting divies will reduce the debt anyway

i vaguley recall defabstar half year calcs he said approx 13.2c eps for full year if AUD is at .69 whihc is not the case so it may be higher now being AUD > .70
