    I agree with you that using density methods is definitely worth exploring due to the natural higher density of the various copper minerals compared to most if not all gangue minerals. Thanks for posting that info, I have looked into it but are all DMS or Jigging methods wet methods? Obviously wet methods can continue to be used if recirculation/salting and or heating is used to prevent freeze up, I am just guessing but the heating part would increase unit costs very much in a frigid environment like this one.

    I seem to remember in a lot of arctic and sub-artic applications in base metal mines that its often preferred to put the concentrators and DMS stuff underground, despite the high capital cost, because once you do that then the operating temperatures underground are a lot more controlled and energy efficient than trying to keep wet plants liquid by heating right?
