Storm is located on an isolated island but has sea access. Trilogy is more like trapped. Can’t do anything without road access. labour is cheaper and more accessible? I disagree. being 470km away(how is this ‘near’ the city?) from the city in Alaska without road access does not make much difference to Nunavut, workers will be living in the camp anyway and US wages are generally higher than Canada, there’s no town nearby, no infrastructure for human inhabitation nearby, no grid electricity - all diesel, no water. weather wise… it’s like comparing nectarines and peaches… same shite cold ass frozen lol
geologically speaking, mining the arctic project presents a lot more hurdles than storm, due to its topographic features especially its slope, depth(over 100m), accessibility to the ore, risk of landslide… it’s all doable but increases its cost significantly.
I agree Arctic has much superior resource considering its size and grade and Storm will have to be at least twice bigger to attract any money. But in terms of cost of production itself I assume storm will have much better number, real problem is the size of ore.
