Pfizer has recently announced will price a five-day course of its Covid antiviral drug Paxlovid at $1,390 USD ($2 184.44 AUD) when the company starts to sell it on the commercial market later this year.
This seems to be a good comparison to BIT,
As both treat Covid in tablet / capsule form.
While BIT has the added advantage of treating HIV and Hep as well,
Which is excellent indeed.
So if BIT were to have similar pricing
it would only need to sell around 1 million courses,
To match CSL's $2Billion a Year profit,
And hopefully also its $112.2 Billion Valuation.
This seems entirely possible and achievable,
In a fairly short timeframe.
It would also very likely be able to well exceed this,
Especially if a Big Pharma Co. were to purchase BIT.
So the question then becomes,
What is Big Pharma going to pay for something,
That could make them however many Billions a Year?
Well looking at CSL,
CSL has an of MC $112.2 Billion
With $2.2 Billion Profit (NPAT)
So a fair Price depends on potential profits,
In the case of CSL,
It's MC is 51 times it's Profits.
1 Million doses is a very small percentage of the Covid market,
Let alone the HIV and Hep. markets.
The more doses it can sell,
the more BIT is worth....
I for one really hope people do not let BIT go too cheap,
And am Happy to wait to get what it truly deserves,
$100+ Billion is really not out of the realms of reality.
Exceeding that is also very possible.
