The Geoff Merrill 2004 Reserve Shiraz won the Jimmy Watson in 05 and 3 gold medals since. Stunning wine but limited availability. This winemaker though doesnt just have one string to his bow, his 2001 trophy winning Reserve Cabernet is a magnificent wine that with fruit from Mclaren Vale and Coonawarra will blow your socks off and yet has the softness, full palate weight and power unlike most wines with 8 years of age on their side.....Had one for lunch yesterday.
