You apply with your cash
When the closing date arrives ie 18th May (though they can bring that forward) they decide how many you get according to how many have been requested by everybody
The shares will be deposited into you share account
They will send you a cheque for any funds left over (if they did not give you your full application that you applied for)
Its all in the letter they sent you
