Dear RIG Members,
We are pleased to announce that only a month after passing 1 billion Range shares being held by RIG members, an influx of new members has increased ownership to 1.1 billion shares or 22% of the company's shares in issue. We would like to welcome and thank new members whilst also extending our gratitude to existing members for their ongoing support.
We have received a large number of emails from members over the past month and apologise if we have not been able to respond to them all. We value the feedback and it indeed has formed the core of our introductory letter sent to Range's new Chairman and CEO a week ago. We expect a response shortly and will update you as soon as anything is received.
We are encouraged by the approach taken so far by new management but are mindful of significant uncertainties over current status and future plans for the company which we feel the company needs to address urgently, comprehensively and decisively if it is going to bring private investors onside. We commit to working with the new BoD to try to ensure that Range not only improves its communications in line with RIG's founding principles but also aligns its operational and corporate activities to the interests of all shareholders.
