I thought Mschubach made fair comments. I would also have hoped there would have been some standard of ethical behaviour for rabbis. However there are also plenty of Christian leaders who act dishonestly (I could name other religions but intentionally used Christian as this is the main Australian exposure); so to expect a higher standard from leader of one religion compared to another is regretfully a false expectation. Also in cases (where there is pending legal action) it is more likely that religious organisations will follow the lead of government law-enforcement rather than take pseudo-legal action independently. So whilst disappointing that there hasn't been more action from the Jewish community it may be unfair to expect it.
