After the disappointment of the HSV-2 Phase II results a potential partnership went out the window for me. The results were disappointing and I could see no reason why a major healthcare company would want to partner with us to further fund future studies in that area.
It really looks like Wayne has done an amazing job in first, finding a major healthcare partner for the HPV 1b trial and second, finding a funding partner to progress all future trials. Let's face it, the guy is a world class professional who can achieve outcomes of which very very few other people are capable.... we are lucky to have him!
