I think you are going too far with that. Of course it helped that the US did not have a factory production system being bombed to pieces or being occupied by the enemy. Without the US armaments and supplies the Allies would have had a hard time. But the US could not have done anything without the help of its allies. Need I remind you of the film from several yrs ago where an actual British submarine exploit in WW11 was portrayed as an American one. Such fictions help build myths that have no relationship to reality and promote a US-centric view of everything. It was a good MOVIE by the way.
