Saw the news clip myself, and Mr Turnbull was talking up " clean coal ", big time ( no specifics though ).

We have to remember that the " opposition party " are in the same game and policies are only variants of the status quo.

Change a law, build a business,....the saying goes.

What other technology uses the most abundant energy source Oz has got, and yet allows cattle to feed around the pipes ?

Depending on the geology of a site, what other technology can be franchised and replica moduls built over stranded coal seams ( taking the value of the resource from zero to hero ), thus bringing down the cost of TRANSMISSION of the cheap power. ?
