IMO, Shorts are looking to cover, the only way they can is to push the price lower and get shareholders to sell.

As there are minimal buyers at the moment due to negative market sentiment, they will put larger sell orders to cap the upside, and place even larger buy orders to cover there short.

At the end of the day, the buys and sells and pulled and the next day the price is pushed lower, to remove all the small sellers, then their buys are put in ready to cover.

Again they put in a large sell to cap the increase.

The current play is - fear.
    A) Need money to drill, thus issues shares lower
    B) Dart International will not raise enough and will be delayed
    C) Cash burn this quarter is 40 Million, if it keeps the same rate, either issue shares or start using the 100 Millin for HSBC
    D) Market Sentiment is low.
    E) In obtaining the holings in England, they need to drill 11 holes by 2014. presume this is a large expense that is not as yet covered in the short term

    Currently
Yesterdays shorts 3 Million, 30 day average volume is around 8 million. Trading only started today and volume is already 22 Million. Either more shorts are open shorts are covering.

We will find out in the next few days, when Substantial Holding Notices are issued.
