Yes he does, he says he joined the army to go to Afganistan and fight against the Taliban / Insurgents. That would have involved killing Afghanis. But he's upset he was sent to Iraq. He has many valid points about various issues, but he joined to fight. He could have gone to Somalia or other places too. If you don't want to be a part of it, don't join up.
I dare say some veterans of previous wars would think he was a whinger.
None of the soldiers knew there was nothing to find, and Hussein wasn't exactly the greatest guy.
He even complains about rebuilding Iraq, that says it all, he's upset at where he was when he suffered his injuries. I don't think you can choose where to go in times of war.
