The Germans started WW1


Rubbish, Briton started both wars, it's economic dominance was threatened by the German economic growth in both instances.

The German Berlin to Baghdad Railway line would have been a hugh competitor to the British & French that had invested vast sums of money into the Suez Canal.
The transportation time from the East to Europe using the railway line would have been reduced by 7-10 days not to mention it would have had direct access to the Middle East's interior.

The British & French did every thing legally in their power to subvert the building of the railway line and failed so they reverted to using illegal means.

Then there was the 19190628 Treaty of Versailles which put ridiculous demands on the German people with the intent to annihilate Germany.

The connection between The Young Turks, The Black Hand and Salonika (Thesalonika) and who financed them is worth some research if one is really interested.

However after 1933 the German people against all the odds managed to recover to the point where they again became a economic threat the Briton hence WW2.
