Orica Kooragang uses approximately 15% of NSW gas.

I'm hearing the current Orica Gas services agreement expires in 2026.

Orica Enterprise Agreement expires 4th July 2026.

It maybe very possible Orica is positioning itself to shut down Kooragang Island if a new reasonably priced Gas Services Agreement cannot be sourced.

Its extremely worrying that politicians are not doing anything to secure the Kooragang Island jobs.

Orica have already publicly stated "Australia needs gas or we will loose manufacturing"
