Did you notice the whole Eastern Sea Board and South Australia was trading above the $12Gj "East Coast Price Cap"
With PEP11 - The fundamentals are still unchanged...
East Coast still needs gas as firming energy, feedstock for jobs and also to transition to net zero stops...
Without gas this all stops - Our lights turn off.
AEMO and ACCC has reported near term catastrophic gas feedstock and gas supply issues... There isn't enough in the bank and we need to invest in exploration and find more gas...
Tonight for example...
Gas is supplying 14% of The NEM and coal is supplying 64%
Everyone knows Coal is on the way out....
Gas reserves are depleting with feedstock due to impact the NEM and not to mention major gas users (Heavy Industrial Employers) in 2026.
It is a ticking time bomb.
