Even if those super funds are “in it for the long haul”, there is the issue that the price depression in the meantime affects sentiment, as well as affecting the way in which companies can raise further $$ from the market (e.g. cap raises at lower prices than otherwise).

Seems kinda retarded for the government to force the good folks to invest in something that operates this way.
