Well done Country Writer - its hard to produce such a calm and resonable letter when things are going badly, and you are right when you say it is exactly what is needed.

I was listening to the radio just now and someone mentioned the aphorism often attributed to Gandhi: "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." Hope it applies to CXY and we are at the third stage!

Actually as I was checking whether the attribution to Gandhi was correct (its disputed) I saw another statement he made that may be apposite at the moment: "An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it. Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self sustained."

Now there's a thought!
