We will get the wrong reaction if we take a confrontationalist approach with any of our letters to politicans or to the media. If we do, the receiver will most likely get his/her hackles up & the letter will find it's way into the WBP (waste paper bin) or simply be deleted if the letter was sent by email.

Just be calm & factual & we will stand more of a chance of the reader taking some interest in what we have to say.
