G'day Chatzyboy.
Thanks for your posts on your attempts to get some info out of CTO via Mack Lynch.
I would like to make a couple of points.
1. With regards to your post on the 24th that you had recieved a short reply from Mark saying that he did not access chat rooms. What crap!!! if he does not then certainly others at CTO do as witnessed by the replies on HC posted under "Citigold". This can lead us to a couple of possible conclusions that the staff are not game to tell him what is being said on such forums,(a sign of a very poor and autocratic style of management), or he is modifying the truth, to use a generous turn of phrase.
Surely it is his job to know what is being said about the company that he is well paid to manage, especially by the shareholders from whom he is constantly required to ask for more money.
One of the most important jobs that he has is to maintain the share price so that when CTO do need to raise money then it is done with a minimum of dilution.
2. So Mark compared CTO to BDG did he?
Well I know who has done better over the last year or so, a holder of CTO or one in BDG.
BDG keep their holders informed and tell them when things do not work out.
Ballarat is owned by a large highly successful gold miner in LGL and also have told their holders that it isn't working out and what they are doing about it , selling!!.
He also says that CTO have spent only $140 M, BUT MAYBE THAT IS THE PROBLEM. I find that when I try to save money on projects that I end up with a second rate job. Maybe CTO would have been better off having spent more and be producing heaps of gold instead of being in the position they are in where we are hoping the quarterly will show 2,500ozs.
3. "Uninformed rhetoric" Hey ??. So we are all idiots are we???.
Well what does that make him then?? HE RUNS A COMPANY OF IDIOTS!!!!.
Gee that must look good on his job experience list.
"What was your last position Mr Lynch?"
"Oh, I was the head man at a company owned by idiots." "Run by idiots for idiots was our motto!!!" " "We took em nowhere, told em nothing, gee it was great while it lasted".
4. "He had no answer for the deep hole!!!".
Again crap!!!. If he dosen't then who does??, and if he really doesn't then what does that tell us???
