>> obviously 3 futher deals this year (if they are achieved) will greatly lift the companies profile in terms of being recognized & the potential of the technology to deliver breakthroughs in drug discovery by the major pharmaceutical companies. As SoT said recently another "brick" in the wall - high profile partners = high profile recognition.

Actually size & structure of these 3 deals will obviously highlight the significance being placed on PYC by the big end of town but an update earlier this year from Chairman highlighted that PYC was seeking to significantly expand both the size & scope of collaborations so i guess points to these 3 deals potentially being both much larger & much more l;ucrative than the current deals already worth potentially $234M (not including Roche undisclosed) + royalties.

My picks for the remaining 5 months of this year aside from the 3 new deals is as follows -

>> Roche entering formal licensing agreement on ICP BBB peptide - how much ? is full terms of renegotiated deal now released ? Is it something that Roche formally announces on their own front ?

>> Meddimmune/Astrazeneca (12 months falls this month) has Pseudomonas aeruginosa candidate been identified and where are Mediimmune taking it from here ?

>> What's PYC / Pfizer collaboration up to ? the market globally is very excited with the potential of cancer vaccines to deliver, as the partnership is based on peptides for undisclosed vaccines (aside from them being in a largely unmet area) is it heading down the oncology path ?


Overall though i guess it is very hard to see when exactly the "substantial breakthrough deal" will be delivered but (soley in my opinion) it will come with a BANG - and it certainly won't be the last of that nature with so many "potential" events fitting that mould in the pipeline. Black swans are out there somewhere :-)

Time will tell - but as you stated previously the prolonged wait & lack of any update is indeed frustrating.
