The letter reads like they aren;t expecting anything to happen till 2018. Instead, I believe they have set targets that will be achieved in a few months - no matter what. They can't set expiry for 6 months when the event may actually occur as this would be a major leak and may break confidentiality. So in other words considering the desperation of directors there is something big brewing and they want in before it happens
