Fixed is ownership, labour, financing & corporate overheads. Variable is maintenance, tyres, fuel etc.
As I said, these numbers are based upon those tendered to me from a major haulage contractor when I managed haulage contracts at a Qld mine.
My belief about the speculation in haulage rates surrounds upside to the $100/t production costs. Conversely, there's the risk of the haulage costs being understated & perhaps $100/t being low. In any case, I feel there's upside on the haulage costs to Tennant Creek.
