It is now very clear that the Government is aiming to destroy Telstra. The amended legislation to permit the NBN to compete in the retail market is purely resulting from a growing confidence by the minister that he is succeeding with the masterplan to destroy Telstra and he is getting surprisingly little resistance-so he pushes further with his plan. The next big downer will come when "flip-flop" Samuels via the ACCC gives his new assessment of Telstras charges-no prizes for guessing the outcome.
On a positive note:- doing nothing doesn't seem an option any longer. May I suggest that Telstra shareholders join forces and contribute to a fund to fight this insane and ideologically driven travesty of justice. If each shareholder contributed just $50, that would amount to a huge fund which could make a difference. What do you think?
