I agree it is a topic worthy of discussion.

But I'll approach it from a different perspective as I agree trumps support amongst the governments of the world may be wavering.
However what about his influence over the US Business community particularly in our case construction contractors like bechtel, Fluor etc and resources/o&g companies, Exxon, chevron, Freeport, etc who have operations not only domestically but also internationally. Where a successful local adoption could lead to roll outs through Africa, Middle East etc.

Trump strikes me as the kind of guy who only disputes climate change when it affects profitability so if this administration sees an opportunity to have their cake and eat it too by increasing energy efficiency while also reducing emissions I'll bet they are savvy enough to support it.
