I cannot see how the national guarantee fund will help, but if I was involved then I would certainly be writing to my local MP.
Individuals can only do, and achieve, so much via the "proper" legal process. However, with a decent amount of "political" pressure then it is amazing what can sometimes be achieved by behind the scene negotiations/pressure being applied.
Heck, I have no personal involvement, but this latest action regardless how legally correct, is totally OTT. Indeed it is a move that may well backfire on ANZ and ML, in that it will/could now gain support from others that are not directly involved.
