Hi As I understand things. They did that person no favours by not margin calling . Because they were using that stock CGF to lend out for shorting they outsmarted themselves . The ANZ Banks managers were up to their necks in this and are the ones to be held responsible Cheers Towie

Ive heard that during the banks recent underwriting of DRP the underwriters have shorted the shares (by extrapolating one of the loop holes in the shorting criteria).

Now are you telling me that the banks are going to start suing the institutions who underwrote the shares.

Thats the nature of the game mate, you play to trade and you bear the consequences.
At the end of the day most of us are just retail investors up against the big boys. In order to profit you have to understand this and play accordinly.
