They have been trying to wipe each other out for 3000 years plus with little success. However, theses are two different issues. Jerusalem and Leviathan. Leviathan is offshore and will be guarded by a nuclear submarine, capable of flattening Iran and sinking any seaborne attackers - not one broker reviewing the deal cited security concerns. I also don't see anything built by Palestinians as much of a threat and Iran is settling down with a passive elect but if you talk population demographics in Jerusalem, then Palestinians will make up over 60% of the population by 2020, which will threaten change one way or another for the municapility of Jerusalem. The gas deal with Palestine is also a plus as it helps nutheads to learn how to respect each other and get along.
