they should announce a dividend at the end up of next with updated trading reports if last year is any guide. it's been 7 months since their last dividend. I'm expecting more than last years 24c which implies a gross div yield well above 10% on current SP.
I'd expect some margin compression on the home loan side but that's temporary. the official rate and therefore the bank home loan interest rates will catch up to market rates quickly enough.
big banks have put in place more restrictions on gearing to income which should help players like Liberty.
if the US market holds up the id expect LFG to bounce back. PPM did something similar earlier in the year.
IMO most bad news is priced into US equity markets... at least until the next inflation read.
