Toyota are set on developing hydrogen fuelled electric vehicles. The successful adoption of them relies on better infrastructure.
If you look at their current car range, I think you'd agree that the cars are lacking compared to the conventional electric vehicles while also being just as expensive or more so.
Toyota isn't a good indication of the broader market.
