The US EV tax credits look like being huge for manufacturers. Major manufacturers and mining companies looking at buying up commodity producers (such as the rumour Tesla looking to buy up Sigma Lithium in Brazil).
Imagine if we had a battery tech company with a small factory in Alice Springs...bang in the middle between the lithium and iron ore of the Pilbara and the phosphate of the Georgina Basin.....they could build the Indian Pacific II to fill a few carriages of each and carry ore back and forth and pump out those LFP batteries for decades.
