it will be interesting to see if the price raise can be sustained.
historically rock phosphate has been used for the wet acid process which only produces 50% acid which is perfect for fertiliser. going forward though lfp demand will be for spa which will be mainly produced from thermal acid plants and has a higher market value eg more room for higher input costs and to which wonarah ore is more suited.
the DSO operation could turn into quite an important operation.
