    LG ES to invest US$1.4 billion in US stationary storage cell manufacturing


    LG has announced it will invest $1.4 billion into building battery manufacturing plants in the US. That's going to require a significant supply of lithium carbonate. Where’s all this lithium will becoming from?

    Well, that’s interesting- reckon LG getting big govt US loan, building plants in US, and you’d think they’d be after local supply- they might need to upgrade that 4kt offtake- hey Bruce- reckon LG may need more of our lithium!
