Mowibble I agree with you, when you said "being sold down relentlessly, mostly by bots"
I have thought this for a while, I believe that instead of some large institution selling down, they have infact payed some broker to use a bot to gain a large parcel, whilst appearing to sell down, I believe the answer to this is why it increases when gold falls, are they getting cold feet with the bots?? does this allows the true market price to shine through?? and when gold goes up, back come they (the bots) with vengance! I haven't watched the VWAP on LGL, but I have on some other shares I own where the bot is at work, with those they pay at or just below the VWAP most of the day and push the SP down below that whenever they can, by selling just a few to give the appearance of weakness!

I am thinking of using a system of following the bots and depending on the fundamentals of that particular company buying, because that is exactly what they are doing, although it doesn't quite appear that way!

Three of the other shares that I know that are being botted are SLX NRT and EWC and each of those has it's own compelling story! the same could be said about LGL
