    It would not surprise me either. DROOY have actually been sniffing around closer to LHG's territory - PNG - and have been engaged in several talks. Wouldn't surprise me if they stopped off at Lihir Island to have a look too.

    Would be a shame if LHG went. Gold has a long way to travel and Oz is rapidly losing quality gold mining companies to o/s predators.
