I posted the following earlier - no replies. My question is does anyone know what the underlying fundamentals are for the dump. Reminds me of the sons of gwalia dump ($7 down to $1 something). It has recovered somewhat, maybe lhg will do likewise.

Thanks for that link allfinanz. Most interested in the figures for LHG. Anyone with knowledge of hedging care to comment on the possibility the pitifull LHG share price may be due in part to their hedge book. I think I read somewhere Lihir is one of the most shorted gold companies by brokers - maybe they know something we don't.
