No offence mate but this is a silly question!
We produced Li Carb early 2018 and then BG later in 2018; Aug iirc.
Of course the pilot plant produced a range of product; it was a test facility at adequate scale to refine process design and prove scalability.
The only thing that matters here is that the company has a process to produce battery quality product and is confident that it can deliver into whatever contracts are entered into with customers who need this product. Whether 100% of future production is BG or not, doesn’t mean jack sh!t in the scheme of things.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if many tonnes of lower-than-battery-grade was made at the pilot plant. That is all part of the process of development and refinement, and that was the purpose from day one.
