To sell 2ktpa / 10ktpa battery quality lithium they would need to produce it first.
I am sure there are many other places where this is qualified.

Am I convinved that all product produced from the plant will be battery quality without post processing?
We just don't have that information, but it will show in the cost to produce.

When I saw the AKE number months ago and numbers from others I started to think about that.
When you look at Livent they ship product from Fenix (Lithium Carbonate) and Guemes (Lithium Cloride) to Bessemer City to convert to LiOH and other product.

The way I see it is that Pablo tried to make this operation as efficient as possible, hence the evaporation ponds.
I bet you he uses lithium absorption in the process and other methods that others are selling as "DLE".
But unless you have actual information it's all speculation.

There is going to be byproducts to this process which they rarely mention.
35,000 t/y of potash and 25,000 t/y of magnesium hydroxide for the 10ktpa operation.
Maybe a small percentage of industrial grade lithium will be treated as such - a byproduct.

Am I convinved that they will produce 2ktpa battery grade lithium - yes.
