Blaming US President Joe Biden for (lack of) American minerals security is a bit rich when one considers Trump's inept record in the same space (name one achievement not connected to fossil fuels), especially given that he kicked off the absurd trade wars with China. Effective minerals security requires the development of clear, coherent and consistent policy over several years with bipartisan commitment, which USA may struggle to achieve for the foreseeable future.
