With renewable energy being the cheapest form of electricity, battery backup will soon be globally mainstream in countries like Vietnam, and Indonesia just to name a couple for example let alone more prosperous nations, Countries will soon be ditching coal initially and it's going to be a total shit storm trying to keep up with the demand for billions of lithium batteries let alone EV's! the big winners will be the lithium producers. it's going to be a big upset for the fossil fuel industry and a loooong time over due. Recycling of li batteries is the biggy and the waste will drive recycling efforts globally. interesting times
