Personnel from the Ministry of Mining, the General Directorate of Revenue and the Directorate of Mining and Energy Resources inspected three mining projects in the Puna. With the main objective of guaranteeing compliance with the mining and fiscal regulations established in the province, and ensuring the protection of the environment and safety.
The commission was integrated jointly by the Ministry of Mining and Energy, the General Directorate of Revenue and the General Directorate of Energy and Mining Resources of the Province.
In this way, the three agencies, for the first time, fully participated in the supervision of mining projects and the Ministry of Labor is expected to join in shortly.
With the participation of the competent bodies in the environmental, fiscal, collection, and labor areas, the aim is to comprehensively inspect mining projects that are in an advanced phase.
The activity was carried out at the Rincón Litio Project, at Puna Mining and at Manufactura Los Andes.
The Ministry of Mining and Energy , together with other organizations, continues to work hard to promote the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources in a sustainable and respectful manner with the environment.
These joint inspections are a way to ensure that mining companies comply with their legal and environmental obligations, *verify their progress and current status*, while promoting investment and economic growth in the region.
