    Some perspective fwiw:

    Latest spod auction was $2240/t for 8000 tonnes.
    It takes around 8 tonnes of spod concentrate iirc to produce 1 tonne of carbonate.
    Therefore, the spod feedstock to the converters, excluding shipping, to produce 1 tonne of chemicals (Li carbonate) cost them about $18000.
    Then they need to actually do the conversion.
    Then sell the chemicals.

    Let that sink in!

    ps. it was only about a year ago that the same amount of feedstock (8 tonnes of SC) cost them about $3k...!

    The shoe is on the other foot now!
    AGY to be supplying into a red hot market.
    If we can be producing 12ktpa by some time in 2024, lookout above!
