I know everyone is frustrated and taking it out on Romy but I take the media wave as encouraging that things are well under way behind the scenes. This kind of buildup will either lead to action in terms of big, exciting, "govt-lead initiatives", announcements etc, or to awkward silence. To me, it's gaining momentum and only going forward. It'll happen quickly when it happens and the waiting time won't seem much in hindsight.
