Okay, a quick correction here. The pilot plant that PUR purchased was indeed originally owned and operated by Rodinia Lithium, so that part is correct. The chain of name changes is a little murky though, but here's what I found.
Rodinia Lithium later became Lithium-X. In 2018, Lithium-X was acquired by a Chinese company named NextView. At a later stage, NextView changed its name to Tibet Summit Resources, who are the current owners of the project at Sal de Los Angeles, which was formerly known as Salar de Diablillos.
So it appears that Tibet Summit Resources took ownership of the pilot plant with the acquisition of Lithium-X back in 2018. Tibet Summit Resources are now planning to use DLE for the project (SunResin), so it appears they no longer have use for the original pilot plant that Rodinia Lithium built in 2013, hence the sale to PUR.
