Also present was the mayor of San Antonio de los Cobres, Alberto Carral, who emphasized joint efforts to improve the quality of life of Olacapato residents and stressed the importance of public-private collaboration to address crucial challenges such as water supply and sustainable community development. One of the projects that were raised is the construction of the Olacapato Communal House and a water project, among others. The companies promised to collaborate for the restrooms, the warehouse and the offices of the Community House project. In addition, interest was shown in the land available for the local water supply tank project. Emphasis was also placed on the implementation of 23 courses by the Secretariat for Socio-Community Strengthening of the Ministry of Social Development. The meeting was attended by the head of the Quewar de Olacapato community, Clara Acoria, and executives from the mining companies Río Tinto, Puna Mining, Minera Santa Rita and Tecpetrol, as well as other municipal authorities.
